FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR

This time of the year has much to offer our families in the way of entertainment. We just had our Hebron Pie festival and it was great to see you all there ! Football Friday Nights give us a chance to see our athletes in action as well as our band. It's great to see community activities and events start to become more and more popular again. Soon we will have other fests coming up to attend all over the state and in Licking County. Please enjoy all our county has to offer . You won't be disappointed.

BUCKEYE LAKE BRAIN FREEZE THIS THURSDAY!

After lunch, students will be able to purchase ice cream from Buckeye Lake Brain Freeze. Prices range from $2-$5 and this will take place after lunchtime. Each teacher will be able to award a student a free ice cream for showing LANCER PRIDE in the classroom. There is no prepay with this activity and it is taking the place of Kona Ice. 5TH GRADE STEM CLUB SIGN UPS!

If you have a 5th grader who is interested in STEM activities, this is the club to sign up for. Stem Club will start Sept 25th (Wednesday) after school and runs till 5pm. This club meets every week on Wednesdays in Mrs. Clark's room.

KIDS READ NOW UPDATE!

For those students who participated in the Kids Read Now program this summer, the deadline to log books has been extended to September 23rd. There will be a reward for students who completed their books and reporting/logging

ARRIVAL AT JACKSON AND LAKEWOOD ELEMENTARY

When dropping off your students in the arrival line, please note that staff have to leave the arrival area and go to their classes in the building at 8:50am. Students are considered late to school after 8:50 am unless they ride a bus. If you arrive and there are no staff outside after 8:50am, please park your car and bring your student to the office . Thank you for your time and support in this matter.

STUDENTS WHO ARE EVERYDAY PICK UPS

Please be sure to send a note or call the office and let our secretary, Mrs. Weatherspoon, know if your child is going to be an everyday pick up. We have a checklist that helps us to dismiss these students each day. If the office is not aware that you child is a pick up, this will cause you a delay at dismissal.
