WE ARE FULLY CHARGED COMING BACK FROM
BREAK THIS WEEK IN #HAYNation!
Yelle Newsletter for May 2nd!
Hello from the Yelle.
It's May! First week back after Break, and the kids got right back into it. We are all so proud of them.
As I try to do each week, I use the big picture above to tell the story of the week in pictures for us here at the Yelle.
This week the Big Picture above has snapshots highlighting some of the amazing happenings this week. We have a picture outside Honey Dew for Mrs. Lehane's 4th Grade Mathletes who took the title this year for our ST Math March Math-ness Tournament. Our HAY PTO sponsored the winner to have a field trip across the street to Honey Dew to have a donut and hot chocolate to relish their Championship. Congrats Mrs. Lehane's class! The top row of pictures show some of my favorite things with students writing out their thinking on their whiteboards, working together, collaborating, and practicing their skills. We had Picture Day this week, and I was able to grab a picture of our students dressed up for it including one big group holding our #PositiveSignThursday message of how We Are Fully Charged after the Break, and another one of two of our most dapper students sporting ties for Picture Day. YES!
These and the other pictures below in and around the classrooms really do relay a story of the incredible accomplishments our students and teachers achieved this week. Please check them out below and all over our Instagram feed to help to tell the tremendous story we are writing this year.

Yelle Spring 2025 MCAS Schedule
Our first leg of our 2025 ELA MCAS administration is completed
for all of our students.
All I can tell you is how proud I am of all of our students' effort!
All we ask is for them to do their best and take their time, and I believe,
that is exactly what they did!
You may not believe this but our students like our MCAS Days.
How might you ask?
Well, our students start their day with a morning Recess, then a Snack, then a couple of hours
set up for testing, then an Afternoon Recess and Lunch, with their Special happening in the
afternoon.
It's a day we just ask for our students to take their time and give their best effort.
That's all we ask.
Other than the testing, the day is very nice for them.
Please just wish your kids to do their best on those days.
That is all we ask.
Any questions, please let me know.

Math Day 1 on Thursday 5/8
Math Day 2 on Friday 5/9
