Gatorade Player of the Year
In its 40th year of honoring the nation’s most elite high school athletes, Gatorade announced Aaron Brand, Jr. of Irmo High School is the 2024-25 Gatorade South Carolina Football Player of the Year. Brand, Jr. is the first Gatorade South Carolina Football Player of the Year to be chosen from Irmo High School.
Gatorade Player of the Year is the top honor in high school sports, celebrating the nation’s best high school athletes for their success on the field, in the classroom and in the community.

Transcripts
Students are able to order updated transcripts reflecting the 24-25 school year, grade level, and class rank via Parchment. Any student not having an current Parchment account can create one using the link below using their PERSONAL email. All transcripts are free of charge for current Irmo High School students.

Holiday Tree Festival
The Center for Advanced Technical Studies invites you to their Annual Holiday Tree Festival on Thursday, December 12th from 5-7 PM. This event is not only a celebration of the season but also a chance to give back to the community. Attendees can vote for their favorite holiday display by making monetary donations to local charities. Families are encouraged to join them for a night of holiday crafts, cookies, hot cocoa, and a special appearance by THE GRINCH. Let's come together to support local causes while enjoying the festive spirit.
Irmo Theatre Holiday Market
Irmo Theatre Company, our theatre program at Irmo High School International School for the Arts, is hosting a Holiday Market you won’t want to miss! Saturday, December 14, from 10:00am to 6:00pm, this free event will be a great place to enjoy shopping for gifts, spending time with friends and family, and helping to support your local community! Photos AND the option for lunch with Santa will be available throughout the day, childcare for 3 hour sessions are being offered so that you can keep gifts a secret from your good little girls and/or boys (reservation required. Guardians are not required to stay on site during childcare).

12 Days of Perfect Attendance
From December 2-17 make sure you show up to school EVERYDAY and ON TIME! Why? We'll be selecting 5 students EVERYDAY on these dates and will be awarding gift cards. Winners will be announced during Stinger Studies and can pick up their gift card at the Attendance Office.

General School Information
Spring School Day ACT and SAT
In spring 2025, students in their third or fourth year of high school can take the ACT or SAT during a school day at no cost, as the State is funding this opportunity. Families can choose which test their student will take through the Parent Portal until December 17, 2024, by following the steps linked below. Articles are included to assist families in deciding which test may be the best fit.

Seat Time Recapture
Students who have over 10 absences in a yearlong class or over 5 absences in a semester class must recapture seat time in order to receive credit. See below for available times. Follow this link to register, or click the image below.

Alive at 25
Alive at 25 courses are available to be able to park on campus for second semester. Register your student at SCNSC.ORG/A25. By registering your child for Alive at 25, they will receive comprehensive training on safe driving practices, defensive driving techniques, and the importance of making
responsible choices behind the wheel.
Students must complete this course before they can be issued an Irmo High School Student Parking Pass.

The D5 Foundation is hosting a Pampered Chef fundraiser going on now through December 15th (to allow time for holiday shipping).
