Closing out your time at San Juan:
Parents need to be aware of fines and outstanding debts. All accumulated debt from San Juan High School, as well as any other school that your student has attended, must be paid in full or your student will not be allowed to participate in the commencement ceremony. Please be aware that we accept cash or money orders only, checks are not accepted after April 1st, and we do not have the capability of accepting credit cards in person. However, you can pay with a credit or debit card online at myschoolbucks.com by creating an account, adding your students using their school name and Student ID number. You will choose “Textbook/Library Fine” following the instructions onscreen for each item. It is a good idea to take care of these now prior to senior checkout to streamline that process.
Past due book/fine statements have been going out, additional, statements will go out mid-May as well. The fines shown will either need to be paid or books returned to the school they were checked out from. All books for current classes must be kept until at least May 28th. Additionally, you may have fines from the finance office on a separate bill. Please see that statement for further information.
San Juan High School staff members’ hope that you will continue to encourage your student to finish the school year on a positive note, making sure that all assignments are completed on time and behavior is acceptable. District and school rules will be enforced before and throughout the commencement ceremony. Students who violate these rules for the school year will not be allowed to participate in the commencement ceremony.
If you have questions or concerns about graduation, please contact the Vice Principal Office at (916) 971-5113.
Thank you for your continuous support,
