Dear Slate Families,
After a short week and a few snow days, we hope everyone enjoyed some time to rest. Please encourage your students to stay engaged with reading and academic activities to keep their skills sharp during this unexpected break.
A special note for our 3rd-grade parents: The Parent Meeting Night originally scheduled for January 22nd has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 29th, at 4:30 PM in the cafeteria due to the school closure.
At this meeting, we’ll share important details about the 3rd-grade reading test, and each 3rd-grade student will receive an Android tablet, generously donated by the United Way organization. Pizza will be provided, and your attendance is required to receive the tablet and the information shared.

AM Arrival 9:10-9:20am - Enter from Taylor Rd., pull through the car rider loop, and drop students along the sidewalk in the pickup/drop zone. Exit through the neighborhood. Students will enter the building through the back gym entrance. Students arriving after 9:20am will be marked tardy and must be signed in by a parent/guardian at the front office.
