Remember:

IPR Averages Remain Fixed

• Once the IPR grading period closes, the average is locked at the snapshot.
• Adjusted grades will only update in the Nine-Week’s or Semester average.

Avoid using "Incomplete" in an IPR

• Incomplete grades or overrides will not calculate correctly into semester averages.

Adjusting Grades in Closed Grading Periods

• You can modify assignment scores or add new assignments in closed periods.
• The IPR average itself will not change.

How to View an Updated IPR Average

• Temporarily remove current grading period grades.
• Re-enter them after reviewing the updated Nine-Week's or Semester average.
  

Reminders:

• Complete all transfer grades for current nine-weeks to ensure accurate average calculations.
• There is no action/submit required by the teacher. The system will automatically pull the average at 4:30pm on the day the grading period closes.
• If updates need to be made to previous closed grading periods, teachers will need to unlock the grading period. Note: It is not necessary to re-lock an IPR until the end of the nine-weeks.
• Teachers can change the Grading Period display after a grading period closes and disappears.

Did You Know? You can copy display settings in one class to your other classes in Skyward

• First, set the Gradesheet Display and Student Display settings the way you want
• Then, click on Copy Gradesheet Display Settings in the top right
• Check destination course(s) and click Next
• Leave all settings checked (or not) and Run Process
