New opportunities added:
Minnesota Masonic Charities Deadline is Feb 28
- (36) awards to MN Seniors going to 4 year schools from $3k- $5k up to 4 years. Varies based on GPA 3.0 and up. (10) awards to MN Seniors going to 2 year schools $1500 for 2 years. (40) awards to MN Seniors going to Trade/Vocational/Technical Schools; $1500 for 2 years. Membership with the Masonic Lodge is NOT a requirement!
Qualified Hardware Scholarship for Dedicated Students
- Deadline: Mar 15
- (1) $1000 scholarship. GPA 3.0+. Write a reflective piece detailing your educational journey so far. Explain how your dedication and hard work have impacted your grades and life.
- $1000 Scholarship is for area students (ISD #318 is one of only 7 other local eligible schools) who are pursuing an education in Natural Resource areas (i.e. Wildlife/Fisheries, Soil/Water, Timber/Range, Wildland Fire etc.) OR Criminal Justice areas (Enforcement, Courts, Corrections, Parole), Federal or State Conservation Officer, Forest/Park Rangers (USFS, NPS, USFWS, BLM, BIA), Deputy Sheriff, MN BCA, State Patrol or other related careers. Repeat: Blandin Foundation Scholarships- Apply until March 1
Blandin Foundation Scholarships - Receive a grant up to $6,000 per year based Student Aid Index (SAI) from the FAFSA under 30,000. Apply every year until age 25 if pursuing a degree.

Students planning on going to any type of post secondary schooling, college, will want to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA ®)
Repeat: GRACF SCHOLARSHIPS- Apply until March 1
Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation (GRACF.org) Scholarship Application contains 140 scholarships totaling $170k from local businesses, organizations and individuals.
Thunderhawk Scholarship Application
Thunderhawk Scholarship Application Due Feb 20

Eligibility: All graduating Seniors of Grand Rapids High School or Area Learning Center who are continuing their education after high school are eligible to apply. This can be a public or private technical college, community college, or four-year college or university, both in person and virtually.

Compeer Financial High School Senior Scholarship Program Deadline: Mar 15
123 Scholarships of $1,500 are awarded to seniors in mainly rural communities who are going into agricultural majors.
MN North College Itasca Scholarships Deadline: Mar 15
Students attending the Itasca Campus can apply for many scholarship opportunities through one application.
- MN State Horticultural Society Scholarships are offered to students with interest and participation in horticultural/gardening activities. Ranging from $600-$700. Deadline March 15 Short essay (at least 200 words) describing your involvement/experiences in horticulture and gardening. MN Horticultural Scholarship Application
- Apply for the Jack Moon Scholarship. Deadline: March 19 Vocational or Trade school students: Available to NE MN Students only in the following counties: Itasca, Aitkin, Carlton, Lake and St Louis. It is als based on your FAFSA Submission. Must be attending an accredited vocational or trade school in MN, WI or MI, full or part time.
Itasca Lodge #208 A.F. & A. M. Scholarship
- (2) $1000 scholarships. Deadline April 1 Essay about yourself, your goals, why you chose your field of study and relationship if any to the lodge. Affiliation to a Masonic Fraternity is not required. Itasca Lodge Application
MN North College Hibbing, Rainy River, Mesabi Range and Vermilion Scholarships
Students attending of these campuses can apply for many scholarship opportunities through one application. Deadline: Apr 1
Graybar Construction Trades Scholarship Deadline: April 15
For students who intend to complete an associate degree, pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship, or certificate program leading to work in the construction trades (such as carpentry, construction management, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, sheet metal, welding, telcom, etc.).
