A Note from Mrs. Patterson
Happy Friday!
If you have not yet nominated a teacher for the January Teacher of the Month, please do that today, which is the deadline. The link is below!
Let me ask you something.....how do you start your day? Did you know that how you start your day will set the tone for the entire rest of the day? Are the person who is rolling out of bed 2 minutes before your first live class? Are you getting up at the last minute, finding you don't have time to get dressed or eat breakfast? When we are rushed in the morning, we often feel out of sorts the rest of the day, like we are constantly trying to catch up. The better thing to do is set a routine for yourself in the morning that allows you a calm and easy start to your day. Some people get up early and exercise. Or, they may read, pray, meditate, or reflect on the day ahead. Some like to get up before everyone else in the house to enjoy a few minutes of peace and quiet. Whatever it is, find something that will get yourself off on the right foot. This usually does require getting up earlier, but it doesn't have to necessarily mean you are up at the crack of dawn. Even just 10 extra minutes in the morning can help you feel less rushed and more prepared to take on your day!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
