First Week Review
Thanks to Our Incredible Team!
The NFHS Administration: Mr. D'Amico, Mr. Chapleau, Mr. Rohwedder, and Mr. Ottusch would like to thank everyone who made the opening of the 2024-25 school year a success! Our teachers and paraeducators worked hard earlier this week to get ready to meet their new students and start them on their journey to developing as knowledgable scholars, talented communicators, critical and creative thinkers, engaged global citizens, and self-determined and self-reliant individuals! And the teachers, paraeducators and administrators would not have been able to do it without the tireless work of our custodial and maintenance team and administrative assistants.
Responsibility and Respect: The Foundation of Our NFHS Community
We began on Thursday with our students in the gym to celebrate our seniors and start on an energetic note, and also met with the classes to review our expectations and goals for the year. Our message to students, that we need families' support to reinforce, was that without a culture where we respect each other, we cannot achieve the great things we know our students are capable of. We reminded students that each of them has an important role in our school in making sure that everyone is treated with respect, that our words matter, and that even when we have differences we may not agree with or understand, every NFHS student has a right to feel welcome each day in our community to get the most out of their education.
We know our students and staff are up to the task, and want every family to review our Code of Responsibility and Respect to talk about the roles and accountability that students, families, staff and administrators all have in making our community strong and inclusive.

Class of 2025 Brings the School Year Alive!
Seniors Lead Us Into A New Year!
The Class of 2025 led the way to a great year with the senior parade, and the positive vibes they brought to the whole student body on the first day of school! The kicked off their "last first day" with the class photo and picnic, and set a positive example for NFHS students.
Thanks to Mrs. Scappaticci and Mrs. Jurgensen, the class advisors for organizing a special start to the year, and of course to Mr. Hunt, our head custodian and his team for their support!
