Dear Mt. Hebron Community,
What an incredible Homecoming Week! The spirit and energy were truly alive throughout Spirit Week, as our students showed their Viking pride in full force, making each day more fun and exciting than the last. From the spirited pancake breakfast to the colorful community parade, the thrilling football game, and finally, the unforgettable Homecoming dance, we came together to celebrate and create lasting memories.
This week was a perfect example of what makes Mt. Hebron so special — a true sense of community. None of this would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of so many people. I want to extend a sincere thank you to our parent volunteers, staff members, and everyone who contributed their time and effort to make this week a success. Your support ensured that every event was not only fun but also safe and enjoyable for all.
And to all who came out to be a part of the festivities — whether you cheered at the game, marched in the parade, or danced the night away — thank you for being a part of the Mt. Hebron family. This Homecoming was a reminder of how lucky we are to have such a vibrant, supportive community.
Let’s continue to carry this spirit forward as we move through the year, celebrating all the things that make Mt. Hebron great!
With gratitude,
Katie Clark

HCPSS Monthly Career Cluster Spotlight
The HCPSS Monthly Career Cluster Spotlight is back after its inaugural year! Like last year, we will spotlight a different Career Cluster each month. The goal is to not only expose students to the myriad of careers out there, but also connect their current course content to the post-secondary world.
Each month we'll have a bulletin board with information, media books on display, blast out announcements, as well as host an evening panel of HCPSS alumni with careers in the field. The Monthly Spotlight google site is also a great resource for students and families.
HCPSS’s October Career Cluster is: Health and Bioscience.
Looking ahead, here are this year’s career cluster spotlights:
- October: Health and Bioscience
- Virtual Career Panel on October 16th at 7pm: Register here
- November: Construction and Development
- December: Manufacturing, Engineering, and Technology
- January: Information Technology
- February: Arts, Media, and Communication
- March: Business Management and Finance
- April: Consumer Services, Hospitality, Tourism, and Human Resource Services
- May: Environmental, Agricultural, and Natural Resources
HCPSS March2Future is our postsecondary planning series of live webinars that run twice a month and are always recorded. We advertise these informational interactive events frequently to families in our weekly College & Career Newsletters and also have it posted on the Mt. Hebron Website.
