Dear Hornet Families/Friends,
As we approach the conclusion of the second quarter, I want to commend our students for their hard work and determination. The middle of the year is a crucial time for growth, and we will soon begin our mid-year assessments, including NWEA testing. These evaluations help us track progress and tailor instruction to meet each child’s needs. While we have many exciting events planned as winter break nears, our top priority remains focused on learning. Your support at home is invaluable in encouraging your child to stay engaged and give their best effort each day.
We ask for your partnership in reinforcing the importance of accountability and perseverance. Please take time to discuss with your child the significance of consistent behavior and a strong work ethic. These traits not only contribute to their academic success but also help them develop lifelong skills. Together, we can help our students end the quarter on a high note and enter the new year with confidence.

Your involvement—whether by reviewing homework, attending conferences, or simply cheering them on—makes a meaningful difference in their success. As winter break approaches, I encourage you to enjoy time together as a family, creating memories and fostering connections.
