Kids Heart Challenge
It’s almost here! It’s our final week of Kids Heart Challenge! We are having a blast learning how to keep our hearts and minds healthy and happy through jump roping activities. I’m so proud of our students and families. Together, our efforts will help to save lives!
There’s still time to help us reach our goal of 100% of families completing Finn’s Mission, learning the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR and earning your lifesavers cape. Please complete Finn’s Mission (if you haven’t already) by this Friday, February 28.
Here’s how you can help:
- Register: heart.org/schools or download the free AHA Schools app on your device or simply scan the QR code at the top of the page.
- Complete Finn’s Mission: Complete all 7 steps and be entered to win two Super Bowl tickets!
- Share with family & friends: Send 5 messages through text, email or post on social media.
We are so grateful for your involvement in and support of the Kids Heart Challenge at Reeceville!

Code of Conduct Meetings
It is that time of year again to review the Student Code of Conduct. This year, the district is hosting two in person community events to present information about the Student Code of Conduct. The first date is Feb. 26th at the Health Alliance Center on 4th Ave. and the second date is Monday, March 3 at the district office. Both events begin at 6:00 PM and end at 7:30 PM. In addition, to the live events, there is also an opportunity for those who can't attend to provide comments and feedback electronically. I will also send it out to families.
I am reaching out for your support by sharing the SMORE link with your families in the MMM. (Do me a favor and double check that the links are all public one more time?) I am also requesting that you attend one of the evening sessions. I believe that the work that you do every day to ensure the safety and climate of your building is commendable. You should have an opportunity to uphold your vision for your school. Your attendance and support are always appreciated and will go a long way to help reinforce all of the wonderful things that we are providing for our students. You can RSVP your preference directly to me. I thank you in advance for your time.
I will share my presentation with you in advance. I am also going to do a restorative circle to start the meeting, organize an activity to close, and lastly, I will allow for a brief period for questions. I am asking for questions and comments in advance, which I will share with you as well. The meeting will end promptly at 7:30.
