Johnson Newsletter
January 12, 2025
Good evening, Johnson parents and guardians!
It was a great feeling to have the students back in the building last week! I appreciate you all making the best of eLearning, but nothing beats in-person instruction.
This week is a shortened week. We will not be in school on Monday to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This will NOT be an eLearning day! This is a day off of school.
Congratulations to our 3 robotics teams! Sparkz placed 11th out of 65 teams and Pink Lightning placed 14th! Way to represent JES!
The Health Educator for the mobile dentist will be talking to all the students on Wednesday about oral health and hygiene. They will also be informing students about the mobile dentist. We will send home information soon about when the students can see the mobile dentist!
Our affirmation this week is "You make a difference." Every day, parents like you are engaged in the vital, often challenging, work of nurturing the next generation. From the smallest acts of kindness to the most complex decisions, your actions have profound effects. YOU, parents and guardians, make a difference! Your contributions as a parent are varied and invaluable. Join us this week in spreading this message to the students and let them know (no matter how big or small they are) they make a difference!
Warm regards,
Carrie Carter

We are a week behind because of the snow days. Dates are wrong; food is right!
