January 6-7, 2025
Happy New Year 2025! We are so excited to begin a new year filled with great opportunities and experiences for our wonderful school community. Wishing everyone many blessings, happiness, and joy in the year ahead.
A heartfelt thank you to all for the generous Christmas gifts and the outpouring of kindness shown to us. Your thoughtfulness truly made the season brighter. A special thanks to our incredible PTO for organizing the beloved Secret Santa Shop, bringing so many goodies and spreading warm staff well-wishes. Your support and generosity mean the world to us.
We hope everyone had a relaxing, restful, and joyful holiday season—whether you celebrated Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, or simply enjoyed quality time with loved ones. We hope many of your dreams came true.
As we start the new year on January 7th, we want to extend our best wishes to Mrs. Brechbill as she transitions to the high school principalship. We also want to wish Mr. Dennison the best of luck as he steps into the role of Assistant Principal here at Northridge Elementary after serving as our Elementary Curriculum Director. We are excited about the collaborative work that Mrs. Erhard and Mr. Dennison will be doing together to continue providing high-quality education for all of our students.
As always, please feel free to reach out if there's anything we can do to support you or your child. We love our students and are dedicated to working in partnership with our families to ensure the very best for them.
A Big Thank You for the Secret Santa Shop!
What a truly magical experience the Secret Santa Shop was this year! This special event, organized entirely for the children, gave them the opportunity to purchase small gifts and treasures for their family and friends. Once again, it was an amazing success! We want to extend our deepest thanks to Mrs. Alspaugh, the PTO team, and all the volunteers who led this effort with such sincere dedication. The excitement and joy on the children’s faces as they carefully selected their gifts was heartwarming. It was wonderful to see every child participate, each with genuine intent and enthusiasm in choosing just the right treasures for their loved ones. The energy and kindness shared during the event was a beautiful reflection of the love that flows throughout our school community.
It’s clear to see that the respect and kindness for others has only continued to grow, and we are confident this will carry us into another year of positive growth. The spirit of generosity, empathy, and connection is truly a hallmark of our school, and we are so proud to be part of this community. It’s a place where we all support and care for one another every day. Thank you again to everyone involved in making this event so special. Here’s to another year of kindness, respect, and continued community spirit!
Parent-Teacher Conferences: Let's Connect!
In just a few weeks(January 23 and 28), we will be hosting our second round of Parent-Teacher conferences, which is the perfect time to check in on your child’s progress as we approach the midpoint of the second semester. These conferences are a wonderful opportunity to come together and discuss your child’s growth, strengths, and areas for continued development.
If you were unable to attend the last round of conferences, we highly encourage you to make plans to join us this time. It is incredibly important that we work together as a team to support your child’s success. We believe in the power of partnership between home and school, and your involvement is key to your child’s learning journey.
Additionally, early next week, you will receive your child’s Winter I-Ready results, as we have completed these assessments. We will be happy to discuss these results with you during conferences and address any questions or thoughts you may have.Teachers will be reaching out shortly to schedule your conference. We look forward to connecting with you and working together to ensure the very best for your child’s educational experience.
