Happy Halloween to those who enjoy the festivities! I hope you all have a fun and safe evening trick or treating!

School is closed on Friday, November 1st for Diwali. Have a Happy Diwali to those who celebrate!

Students have school on Monday, November 4th but then school is closed on Tuesday, November 5th for election day. Students will return to school on Wednesday, November 6!

Thanks to all our parent volunteers and of course, the amazing HSA lead team that put together the Fall Fest this year! Not only was the weather just perfect but the food, costumes, haunted house, and pumpkins did not disappoint. It was great to see so many students and families coming out to support our HSA and enjoy each other's company on a gorgeous fall night.

It takes a huge effort from our volunteers to put on an event as big as the fall fest. If you didn't get to volunteer this time, please consider signing up to volunteer for our upcoming events, like the Winter BINGO in December or the Spring Fair in May.

A HUGE thank you to our parent volunteers for your support in our recent fall parties. We are so lucky to have parents ready and willing to make these special events so fun!.

4th Grade recently partnered with the Technical College High School - Pickering Valley Campus. HS students came and shared presentations on how the heart is related to their learning in both medical fields and veterinary fields. With them came special guess including a dog, goat, and some small furry friends! See some pictures below.

We are so proud of our Mindful Mustangs! We have so many kids earning those red tickets already this school year! We want to celebrate them! We are asking parents, to snap a photo of your child holding the red ticket that they earned with another family member (parent, grandparent, sibling - anyone). so that we can post them on our internal TV screens.

If you snap a photo - you can upload it using the link below. If your child earns more than one Red Ticket - feel free to snap and upload more than one picture!

SM Students and Staff will be participating in an assembly to show our appreciation for our local veteran's. Students will have an opportunity to enjoy a visit from a veteran too! SM HSA will be providing a lovely lunch for all of our Veteran's who can come out and make this day special. If you have a family member that has served in our armed forces and would be interested in participating in this event, please complete the form below.
