Message from the Principal
Hello Buckaroo Families,
We had an amazing week celebrating our counselors, playing a little extra and learning all about science!
Just a few reminders:
Valentine's Parties- Get those pre-printed badges to avoid the long lines. We will turn off pre-printing at 9:00am on the 12th. Also, if you are sending in cards, snacks, treats....please make sure you are sending enough for each kid in the class.
Absences: We have had lots of students out sick. If you haven't done so already, please send doctor's notes to josefina.martinez@wimberleyisd.net
Trasportation Changes: Please email marlene.gray@wimberleyisd.net as well as your child's teacher to communicate changes in transportation.

District News
Parents/guardians, spring field trips are around the corner!
Parents/approved guardians can attend field trips and accompany their own students without going through the process of becoming "official" WISD volunteers.
However, if you would like to act as a chaperone on a field trip--allowing the teacher to assign a small group of students to you for monitoring/guiding on the trip--you will need to be an "official" WISD volunteer. If you haven't already done so, this is the right time to start that process! Please visit the following webpage to read about and sign up for the necessary steps to become a WISD campus volunteer and/or an off-campus field trip volunteer. Steps include a recent background search and a required 1-hour in-person training, provided by our district safety director.
We are in need of small treasure box items!!
