Andrea Beckett- Thank you for all of your efforts leading the world language department this year. You have shown incredible patience, resilience and compassion in the name of doing what is best for kids. We see you and we appreciate you. We owe you cake, beverages, snacks, etc. Merci!

Jose Serrano- At Back to School Night I heard from multiple parents that our building looked SO GOOD. We are lucky to have such a beautiful building but we are even more lucky to have a facilities manager who looks after it with such care and is always willing to help out. Thank you Jose (and your wonderful team) for all of the work you do to make our building look its best and just being an all around good guy.

Interact Club will be hosting their annual Ice Cream Extravaganza after school on Friday, September 6th on the basketball courts. Each sundae will be sold for $1, and donations are greatly appreciated. We will have options for individuals with gluten and dairy allergies. All money collected will be donated to support Wilms Tumor Research at Children's Hospital. We hope all students buy a sundae to help support this important cause!

Picture retakes are October 23rd during lunch on the stage in the cafeteria. No additional paperwork is needed just show up looking like your great self!

We will be conducting Student-Led Conferences on Wednesday, Sept. 18th and Thursday, Sept. 19th from 4pm-7pm. As part of the Middle School Philosophy, we support students on their journey to become young adults. This includes teaching students to become Independent Learners to ensure their success in high school and beyond.

Students, a reminder that all middle school students need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 18 years of age when attending DCSD High School football games. We expect you to represent yourself and our school positively when attending these games. We appreciate your cooperation in making school events a great experience for everyone.
