Huge shout-out to Love Lodi for showering Lawrence with love last weekend. Volunteers showed up and worked hard to beautify our planter boxes with fresh bark. It looks beautiful and we are so grateful to Love Lodi and to the many volunteers who gave their time for our school community.

This upcoming week we will be celebrating staff appreciation week along with the national teacher appreciation week. To help show our appreciation each day we will have spirit days to help celebrate. Please click this link to see the flyers that went home.

This week on Wednesday, May 8th we will celebrate and have our final House Rally of the school year and we plan on having a blast!

Kindergarten students will be sorted into their first-grade houses! We ask that Kindergarten students wear white on Wednesday and get ready to be crowned with your new official House color!

6th graders, are in for a splash! We've got a special water game just for them. If your student wants to join in on the fun, we ask they wear dark colors and be prepared to get wet. Students can bring along a change of clothes or a towel if you think they might need it.

Let's make this final rally one to remember!

Students attending Millswood Middle next year are invited to stop by for a quick tour and a treat on May 16th. Students should drop by between 6:15 and 6:45. They will follow the signs to the back of campus where they will wait for a tour to begin. (tours are running every few minutes). This brief tour is hosted by next year's 8th grade Leadership Class and gives students an idea of what our campus looks like before they start school on Monday, July 29th. Parents are welcome to wait out front and meet our Parent Club members but are not invited to tour. Grizzly gear will be sold by Parent Club.

We are very fortunate to be hosting summer school this year! It's a fantastic chance for all students to join in and keep the learning and fun going over the summer. In addition to the summer school day, all students will have access to the Bridge after-school program if parents register as well. The Bridge summer program is full of art, STEM activities, games and fun. Please use the front entrance as we will be enjoying our lunch at the Donner & Calaveras corner of our campus. Please bring a blanket or a lawn chair.
