Important Information
Greetings BES families!
Bethlehem Elementary School had its first school-wide Kindness Assembly Wednesday, which featured the Kindness Crew sharing ways to celebrate acts of kindness that help improve the school community. The Kindness Crew is led by School Counselor Lisa Sizer and School Counselor Intern Serena Marro. The group is made up of fourth graders who are doing their part to ensure BES is a kind school community in every way. Before the assembly, the Kindness Crew interviewed fellow students to see how they can practice kindness at recess, in the classroom, on the bus, and throughout our school community. Students highlighted that it can be as simple as saying thank you and cleaning up after themselves. To help students understand the importance of being kind, Mrs. Sizer and Mrs. Marro share messages with teachers that can be used during Morning Meetings every two weeks throughout the school year. The first message was the "Kindness Chain" where students can add a link when they witness an act of kindness.
