By: Jaxsyna
Introduction
Getting Started
Steps To Success
You want to start at a young age to see if you like acting. Maybe you should see if there is a play or something so you can see if you like the feeling of being on stage or on camera. After you decide if you want to be a actor or not you should ask your parents or a friend that can help you research for like good acting schools in the future or maybe even a performance that is happening somewhere near by. When you are done you can ask you parents about plays performances and even classes.
Day-to-Day life as an actor
Professionals in the feild
Well I don’t know any professionals like the ones you see on TV but I did interview someone that owns their own dance studio, plus she used to be an actor. So I interviewed her
is my questions.
Q. What did you do to get where you are in your acting?
A. I began classical ballet, 2 times a week, when I was five. (Very strict Russian training). There I remained for a few years, until I switched to a studio that taught a combo of English/Sadler Wells, Ceccetti, French and Russian. I was VERY happy with the switch.
Q.What is your Day-to-Day life like as an actress?
A. We were given assignments (we each had notebooks, which were sometimes checked). I remember one of my first (I was ten) was to go to to park or the mall or a public place to see how people walked talked sat and how they acted.
Q.Was It hard when you first started in your career?
A. I began classical ballet, 2 times a week, when I was five. (Very strict Russian training). There I remained for a few years, until I switched to a studio that taught a combo of English/Sadler Wells, Ceccetti, French and Russian. I was VERY happy with the switch.
Q.Do you think anyone can be a actor/actress if they commit to it?
A. First, I didn't start to be actress. My passion was - and still is - dance; however, I was very fortunate in my studies and where it led me.
Q.When you first started did you think you would be successful?
A. I thought I just wanted to act; have a part; etc. My teachers knew I wasn't yet ready - but I would be.
Q.What is your experience overall as a actress?
A. Mostly, now, I teach, choreograph and direct. The last time I appeared as an actress professionally was in Chicago Drama League
I feel like she answered both one and three at the same time.
