Hello SGCS families,

I can't belive we're almost to the end of Feburary! This weekend was full of activities across Juneau: wrestling, soccer, basketball, and more, I love seeing kids out in the community over the weekend!

It was wonderful to see so many families at school last week for Parent/Teacher Conferences, thank you for being here. We had nearly 80% of parents show up to conferences!

JSD is considering a districtwide Cell Phone Policy. They're looking for input from parents and students. If you haven't yet filled it out, parents can fill it out here. Students can fill it out here.

In the month of March we have partnered with SHI to provide the Voices on the Land project to our students in grades 4th-6th. Abel Ryan will work with our students to made drums. Famliies have the opportunity to meet Abel and learn more about the project, see flyer below for details.
