After School Program Information ( ASES)
Hello Mustang Families,
We do have an after school program that many of you have inquired about. We do have a waiting list.
The first step is to complete the interest form. Once completed the student will be added to the waitlist. Once a space is available, you will be called and invited to attend a required Parent Meeting.

BUS SCHEDULE
- The Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District offers free home-to-school transportation to all general education students living within their school of attendance and subject to the following transportation guidelines:
- Grades TK through 5th grade, from addresses located not less than 1.1 miles from the school.
- Grades 6th through 8th grade, from addresses located not less than 2.0 miles from the school.
- Grades 9th through 12th, from addresses located not less than 2.5 miles from the school.
- Please visit You My School Locator to check your child’s transportation eligibility.
- All students are required to have a bus pass for safety and ride confirmation. Each student must complete the 23-24 Bus Pass Application to confirm eligibility.
- If your student requires specialized transportation services (e.g., wheelchair, door-to-door, bus aide, etc.), a bus pass application is not needed. Please contact your IEP Case Carrier at your student’s school or the Special Education Department at (562) 210-2080.

School Uniforms
Based on research that student uniforms help to create a positive learning climate, contribute to safe schools, and encourage higher standards of excellence for students in the areas of achievement and behavior, the Board of Education has adopted a mandatory uniform policy for grades K-8. The policy contains a section on parent rights to exempt their children from the uniform requirements. The exemption form may be signed by the parent in the school office.
BOYS
- Solid white or navy blue shirt (collared, no logos) and/or Moffitt spirit shirts
- Navy blue pants or shorts, or dark colored jeans
- Close-toed shoes that allow for participation in physical education
- White or navy blue sweater, sweatshirt, or jacket
GIRLS
- Solid white or navy blue shirt or blouse (collared, no logos) and/or Moffitt spirit shirts
- Navy blue skirt, jumper, pants, shorts, skorts, or dark colored jeans
- White or navy blue sweater, sweatshirt or jacket
- Close-toed shoes that allow for participation in physical education
Uniformes escolares
