Here Comes The Bus!
Here Comes the Bus!
What is Here Comes The Bus?
A bus-tracking app which enables parents to view real-time location of their child's school bus via a computer, tablet or smartphone.
How does it work?
With GPS trackers now standard on most school bus, the app translates GPS data into an easy to follow customizable map which allows parents to see where the bus is and how close it is to your home.
Once parents have registered through the app, they can adjust the settings to customize the radius for alerts, frequency of alerts and other notifications.
Please remember the app tracks the bus number for alerts - not the individual riders. For example: If your child is not riding the bus one day, you will still receive alerts about the location of the bus.
The app is available at no cost to our families.
Is the information private and secure?
Here Comes the Bus uses HTTPS, just like a bank or online story, which means that all communications between your web browser and the site are encrypted and secure. (That's what the S in "HTTPS" stands for - secure).
In order to register for the app, someone must know the child's last name and school ID number.
Who do we contact for questions?
For questions or concerns, please contact Transportation at hctb@hcbe.net.

What is PBIS at Eagle Springs?
What is PBIS?
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, data-driven framework proven to reduce disciplinary incidents, increase a school’s sense of safety and support improved academic outcomes. More than 1,000 Georgia schools and 27,000 nationwide have been trained in PBIS. Implementation of PBIS is saving countless instructional hours otherwise lost to discipline.
The premise of PBIS is that continual teaching, combined with acknowledgement or feedback of positive student behavior will reduce unnecessary discipline and promote a climate of greater productivity, safety and learning. PBIS schools apply a multi-tiered approach to prevention, using disciplinary data and principles of behavior analysis to develop school-wide, targeted and individualized interventions and supports to improve school climate for all students. (OSEP Technical Assistance Center on Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports). Excerpt from Middle Georgia RESA website.
What is the goal?
Our district's mission is to produce high-achieving students. Our goal through this PBIS initiative is to create a strong, positive school culture where each child and staff member feels safe and supported in an effective learning environment to achieve academic success.
