Huntley Happenings January 9th
Family Newsletter
Hello Huntley families,
This month, we have several district assessments we are administering to students. Please be sure to check your child's blue Friday folder each week. For our K-3 families, you will find information about our new district literacy screener that aligns with the Act 20 guidelines. For more information about the state and district changes in literacy, please check out the information page on AASD website linked here. Our teachers look forward to sharing more information and the results with families at our upcoming conferences in February. The conference sign up link will be sent out on January 23rd, so please watch for that information in our upcoming communication.
Reminder, there is NO SCHOOL next week Friday, January 17th for staff development and Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We invite you to check out the 34th Annual Fox Cities MLK Celebration (see below for more information).
Have a great weekend!
