March 2025 Newsletter
Happy March! Thank you to everyone who came out to our Family Discovery Night Thursday, February 28th! We had a wonderful turn out and also announced we were able to raise over ✨$18,000✨ towards launching our school store and adding to our playground! Thank you to all of our families and our community for your support of our school and students. And thank you to our amazing PTC for hosting and running the fundraiser and Glow Run event!
We are excited to kick of March with Read Across America Day! On Monday, March 3rd, students are invited to dress in their favorite book character, we will enjoy green eggs & ham at lunch and have Kona Ice available for purchase! See the Read Across America section below for more information. This month also includes grade level field trips, Book Fair, an At-Home learning day, spring pictures, MAP and Dibels testing, as well as our annual Kids Helping Kids fundraiser sponsored by our National Elementary Honor Society. We are hopeful that midst the March Madness we can also have some fantastic memory-making opportunities for our students. We hope everyone enjoys the month!

Capturing Kids' Hearts Newsletters
Each month we will share the Capturing Kids' Hearts Newsletter for the month. Attached are the English and Spanish parent newsletters highlighting Courage - our focus for March.
This month we are focused on helping students understand that courage is not a magical remedy for fear. Instead, courage is a choice to push through fear, self-doubt, and anxiety to do things that feel hard or frightening. We are partnering with you this month to grow your child’s courage. This month’s activities will help your child understand that courage can equip them to make a positive impact at home, in school, and in the community.
