Race for Education
Race for Education is Saint John School's biggest fundraiser of the school year. Over the past 15 years, we have raised over $220,000 for our students and its success helps to limit the need for additional school fundraisers. Each family will receive a Race for Education packet this week. Please contact Mrs. St. Amant with any questions. Thank you for your support of Saint John School!

Sept 5 is the Feast Day of Saint Teresa of Calcutta
Saint Teresa of Calcutta is one of two saints we are focusing on this month at Saint John School.
Saint Teresa of Calcutta, also known as Mother Teresa, was a kind and loving woman who dedicated her life to helping the poor and the sick. Born in 1910 in Skopje, she became a nun at 18 and went to India, where she saw many people suffering, especially in Calcutta (now Kolkata).
To help them, she started the Missionaries of Charity, a group of nuns who cared for the poorest of the poor. Mother Teresa believed that every person deserved to be treated with kindness and respect. Her work earned her the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979, and she was declared a saint in 2016. Saint Teresa teaches us to care for others and show love to everyone.
Saint Teresa of Calcutta,
Pray for us.
