MCA Math
As we gear up for the Math MCAs next week, here are some helpful guidelines to support your child:
Encourage Restful Nights: Ensure your child gets plenty of rest the night before each test. A good night's sleep can help improve focus and performance.
Healthy Breakfasts: Start each testing day with a nutritious breakfast. Foods like whole grains, fruits, and proteins can provide sustained energy throughout the morning.
Positive Encouragement: Offer words of encouragement and support. Remind your child that they've prepared well and encourage them to do their best.
Practice Relaxation Techniques: Teach your child some simple relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing or visualization, to help manage any test-related stress.
Arrive On Time: Ensure your child arrives at school on time each testing day. Being punctual helps reduce any last-minute anxiety.
Remind About Breaks: Encourage your child to take advantage of scheduled breaks during the test. Stretching can help them stay refreshed and focused.
Stay Positive: Emphasize that the Math MCAs are just one measure of their academic progress. Regardless of the outcome, reassure them that you're proud of their efforts.
Thank you for your partnership in preparing our students for success!

Lost and Found
Our lost and found collection has grown, and we'd like to reunite items with their rightful owners before considering donations. Please take a moment to check through the lost and found items with your child, ensuring they claim anything that belongs to them.

Get Ready for the Bus for 24-25 School Year
Next week, you will receive an email to complete a transportation survey (in Campus Parent Portal) to ensure your student is routed for a bus for the 24-25 school year. All families will be asked to complete this transportation survey, but it will be especially important for students who are switching schools, moving over the summer, haven’t been riding the bus in the past, or have a daycare change. Thanks in advance for keeping an eye out for this message and completing the transportation survey once it is available.
