October 2024 Newsletter
Odyssey Online Learning
There is Always Something to be Thankful For....
Hello, Odyssey Students and Families,
I hope this newsletter finds you happy, healthy, and safe! As we all continue to recover from the effects of Hurricane Helene, I truly want to say how thankful I am for you all. During the difficult times, shall we never forget the love that binds us, how our neighbors, families, and friends are lifelines for support, and to be so thankful for the selfless first responders and utility workers who are still working tirelessly for restoration. My heart goes out to all who continue to struggle during this time, and I hope we can hold onto gratitude, empathy, and compassion even after normalcy resumes.
Due to being closed during Hurricane Helene, we will be providing extensions for the first nine weeks. Our direction from the state will be provided this week. We will then be putting these extensions into place. I would like to personally thank our teachers for working so diligently to ensure content is aligned accordingly and to all our staff working with our students and families to ensure overall student success.
Students and parents, thank you for playing such an important role in communicating with us and expressing your needs.
Please know we are always here to support you and make your educational experience the best!
I am only a phone call or email away! 🌟
Wishing you nothing but the best,
Mrs. Owings, Executive Director
