CONGRATS TO THIS MONTH'S FALCON SPOTLIGHT FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER, TO BE FEATURED FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER. 6TH GRADE: GABRIELA TORRES: 7TH GRADE, HARPER DAIGLE, 8TH GRADE: IIYYAS MUHAMMED.
THE IB TRAIT WE FOCUSED ON THIS MONTH WAS CARING. THESE STUDENTS HAVE DEMONSTRATED DAILY THAT THEY ARE CARING TO THEIR TEACHERS, PEERS, SCHOOL, AND THE COMMUNITY THEY LIVE IN. WELL DONE FALCONS!
CARING: WE SHOW EMPATHY, COMPASSION, AND RESPECT. WE HAVE A COMMITMENT TO SERVICE, AND WE ACT TO MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OHERS IN THE WORLD AROUND US.
FOR NOVEMBER WE WILL BE FOCUSING ON THE OPEN-MINDED IB TRAIT: WE CRITICALLY APPRECIATE OUR OWN CULTURES AND PERSONAL HISTORIES, AS WELL AS THE VALUES AND TRADITIONS OF OTHERS. WE SEEK AND EVALUATE A RANGE OF POINTS OF VIEW, AND WE ARE WILLING TO GROW FROM EXPERIENCE.
CONGRATS TO 8TH GRADE TEACHER, MRS. POE, AND 6TH GRADE TEACHER, MS. EAGLE. THEY HAVE BEEN CHOOSEN FOR OUR FACULTY SPOTLIGHT DUE TO THE CARING NATURE THEY DISPLAY TOWARDS THEIR STUDENTS, COLLEAGUES, AND COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE.
