Help Wanted: Courtroom Artist
Attention all Artists! Have you ever wondered what sort of career you could do involving art? Or do you want to compete with other artists at the regional , state and national levels? Well, the Mock Trial team is in need of a COURTROOM ARTIST ! For information come by Mrs. Likin's room D109.
UIL Film Design Meeting
There will be a general interest meeting for UIL Film design Wednesday, September 18th in G219. We will go over the contest rules and requirements as well as set you up to start filming your shorts. If you have questions, reach out to Mrs. Sturm.
New York City
Are you interested in travelling to New York City and experiencing all that the Big Apple has to offer? Broadway shows, museums, and all the sights? Then plan to travel with Tivy Theatre to New York in the summer of 2026. There will be a General Interest meeting on September 17th at 5:30 pm in the Theatre where you and your parent/guardian can come and get enrolled for as low as a $50 deposit. An Admissions rep from Texas State University will be visiting our campus on Thursday, September 19th during 3rd period in the Library. We encourage you to stop by if you are interested or curious about Texas State! Students and classes are welcome.
Tivy Theater
There will be auditions for a short film directed by Tivy theatre students for UIL and Texas Thespians contests. If you are interested, reach out to Mrs. Sturm. Auditions will be Friday, September 20th after school in G223. There is a $5 audition fee that will be put to costs of filming and competing. Auditions are open to all who are interested.
