Parent Portal to Open for Viewing Grades on Monday

On December 16 at 1 p.m., the CBSD Parent Portal will open for you to access your child's first trimester report card. The first trimester ended on Wednesday, December 4. To access the report card when the portal opens, please follow the directions available here. A one-page informational document on navigating the portal can be viewed here.

Help Support Pine Run’s Environmental Club and get a salty treat.

We are hosting a pop-up pretzel sale on the morning of Tuesday, December 17 beginning at arrival.

Pretzels are $1.00 each -one per person.

We will announce if we have extra.

PLEASE BRING EXACT CHANGE (one-dollar bills or 4 quarters)

There will be a sales table at the recess door for 4-6th grades and one in the cafeteria for K-3rd grade.

We hope you can help support our club!

As we move into the colder months, we want to remind everyone about the importance of dressing children appropriately for outdoor recess. To ensure that all students are comfortable and safe, please send your child to school with appropriate clothing for the weather, including:

• Coats/Jackets
• Hats
• Gloves/Mittens
• Scarves
• Boots (if the weather is snowy or wet)
• Layers to stay warm

We will be following the PA Child Care Weather Watch guidelines to determine whether it is safe for children to go outside for recess. These guidelines take into account factors such as temperature, wind chill, and other weather conditions.

Please be sure your child is dressed warmly enough to enjoy their time outside, as outdoor recess will be held unless the weather conditions suggest otherwise.

Congratulations to Mrs. Bottino's class for having the most Feather 5 tickets during the month of November. Mrs. Bottino's class gets to visit with Mr. Feathers during December!

Congratulations to the Orange bus for earning the Golden bus award for November. The students on the orange bus got to enjoy extra recess with Mrs. Adelman last week!

The holiday season is upon us, and it's the perfect time to thank the incredible staff who make Pine Run such a special place. They work hard year-round, and we think they deserve a little extra sparkle this season!

The HSA is putting together a gift fund to show our appreciation and need your help to make it happen. No donation is too small (or too large 😃) Your contribution will help us spread some well-deserved holiday joy to our school's all-stars. The donations we collect will go towards purchasing holiday gifts and goodies for our specials teachers, nurses, building subs, office staff, and so on.

To donate to our holiday gift fund, you can venmo @Pinerunelemhsa with "holiday gift fund" in the memo or send cash/check (made out to Pine Run HSA) in an envelope marked "HSA-Holiday gift fund". Please send your donations by 12/16/24.
