Principal's Message
Dear Mari-Linn Families,
I can hardly believe that Fall is officially upon us! The leaves are changing, the weather is getting cooler, and our students are truly finding their rhythm as they learn and grow together every day. With the arrival of fall, mornings are also darker than they were at the start of the year. If your child walks or rides a bike to school, please ensure they can be seen and are wearing a helmet for safety!
This week has been filled with exciting events, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated. We’re wrapping up this week of festivities with our Fall Carnival tonight, and we hope to see you there!
As Halloween approaches, please remember that we do not allow costumes or dressing up at Mari-Linn. Teachers may reach out to you about alternative ways for classrooms to celebrate that day. We encourage you to save your costumes for tonight’s Fall Carnival and for the Trunk or Treat at the fire department on October 31st. Thank you for your understanding!
As always, feel free to reach out!

Need to Know Info!
Conferences: Conferences are coming up on November 5th and 6th. Please be on the look out for sign-up information from your child's teacher. November 7th is early release and no school on the 8th.
Arrival / End of the Day Dismissal: If you plan to walk you student in to the buidling please plan to park and walk in versus stopping in the drop off line. If you have any pick-up or end-of-the-day dismissal changes, please reach out to the office before 2:00 PM to ensure a smooth transition for students and staff.
Assemblies: We LOVE having parents and families attend our assemblies. Like last year, all classrooms will have an assigned space in the bleachers. Parents and guests will also have a designated area at the start (new location) of the bleachers. In order to allow for all classrooms to fit, we are asking that parents sit in the designated "guests" section. Thank you for understanding!
Staff Spotlight
This year we will be spotlighting staff in the monthly Buzz. Please see the attachments to learn more about our lovely Mari-Linn staff!!
