This will be the final newsletter for the first semester. I hope you have enjoyed reading about what is happening in our school and, hopefully, this is helping you stay more informed about going on from week to week.
I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and I hope you all have a great Christmas Break. I look forward to a great second semester in 2025, especially for our Seniors!
Mid-Term Exams: The midterm exam schedule for Monday and Tuesday is listed below (or, you may click on the menu to the left). Also listed below is our check in/check out procedures for exam days.
Giving Back- Our Giving Club spent Monday shopping for students in need at PCHS and PCES. They bought for 15 students to, hopefully, give them a Merry Christmas! Our Student Council collected coats for students and community members in need this week as well.
Basketball- Our varsity girls basketball team had a great week, going undefeated. The girls picked up two area wins over Colbert Heights and Sheffield and capped off the week with a win at Russellville. Our varsity boys beat Colbert Heights and lost a close one to Sheffield. Our junior high girls beat Red Bay and Russellville this week.
The Junior High Franklin County Tournament will begin on Friday at Tharptown. The Varsity Franklin County Tournament will be in mid-January. The full schedule is listed below.
Vote Below...Macy Hardy had a great week leading the Bobcats in scoring in all three games. She was recognized by the Times Daily as a nominee for Player of the Week. You can vote for Macy by clicking on the link below.
Fine Arts- Our band put on an outstanding Christmas concert at Northwest on Monday night. The production called "Carols & Chaos" was a job well done!
Several of our students participated in the Roxy Christmas Spectacular in Russellville this week. These students performed for hundreds of elementary school students and many adults throughout the week.
