I have been in New York City this week with a group of our Seniors. The students had a great time and got to experience one of the greatest cities in the world. They walked the Brooklyn Bridge, took in a Kicks/Celtics game at Madison Square Garden, visited Lady Liberty, explored the great neighborhoods of the Big Apple (Chinatown, Little Italy, the West Village, and more), they saw the hit Broadway show Hamilton and strolled Central Park. (Pictures below)
ACAP testing is this week. We look forward to seeing the progress of our 7th and 8th graders. The students and their teachers have worked hard all year for this moment. We will be conducting and ACAP Bootcamp on Monday to give them one final preparation time for the test! I'm confident they will do great! Parents, please help us and your child by making sure they get plenty of rest, are at school every day this week and on time.
Baseball- Congratulations to our baseball team on winning the Class 3A Area 14 championship by beating Colbert Heights. We will host Elkmont on Friday in the first round of the playoffs on Friday beginning at 4:30pm.
Thank you! Have a great week!
