Principal's Message
Good evening,
- Our new bell schedule is working well. We have not had any late buses this week and all 1st period classes have began on time with limited interruptions. Dismissal has been smooth as well with an average release of buses within 7 minutes of the dismissal bell.
- Yondr pouch implementation went well this week. Reminder that all confiscated phones must be retrieved by the parent/ guardian per our Student Handbook and Student CORES.
- Please do not park in the bus loop before 8:45 a.m. and try to complete check outs before 3:15 due to bus traffic. If you need to enter the building during those times please utilize the parking lot across from the bus lot and walk over to the school.
- Quarter 1 Progress Reports will be sent home with students on Wednesday September 11th.
- September is Suicide Awareness Month and we are asking students and staff to wear Yellow on September 10th to show support for those who may be struggling so they may know they are not alone.
- We will be observing Patriot Day on September 11th.
- Our second PFAC meeting will be on September 18th at 5:30 here in the GWHS Auditorium.
- We will hold an Understanding the IEP Night on September 25th at 5:30 at the GWHS Auditorium.
