Welcome back and Happy New Year! It has been a chilly start to 2025, so the students have enjoyed indoor recess. A huge thank you to FPTA for the recess carts that are full of interactive, creative and fun activities! Students have been able to enjoy these during recess and still have fun and move about in the classrooms. These carts are well utilized and greatly appreciated. We also had a Food Advisory Committee meeting this week. Parents and students attended with some faculty and Kerri Santalucia, Maschio's Mount Olive manager, and her staff to discuss the meals and options for our students. We had an open discussion about likes and dislikes of the new foods we have for lunch. Look for some new items in the upcoming weeks! Please be sure your children come to school dressed for outdoor recess- coats, hats, gloves etc. As soon as the temperatures are above freezing, we will be outside!

Thank you for your cooperation with arrival and dismissal procedures! The parking situation has significantly improved. However, we’ve noticed one or two cars still parking on Clover Hill Drive. We try to keep the school side of Clover Hill Drive for parents, but we do have staff that travel through Mount Olive that may park there. Please try to walk or use the carline if possible. Please be advised that the MOPD continues to issue warnings and tickets to those not adhering to the posted parking regulations. Let’s work together to ensure the safety of everyone. Thank you for your understanding and support.
