Sensory Art Workshop

Cost: $200 for 6 weeks, art supplies included

PARENTS/ CAREGIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO STAY IN SESSION

Group is designed for children and parents to work together

Led by Pamela Ullmann, MS, ATR-BC, LCAT

Credential Art Therapist and Autism Specialist

Art making is beneficial to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) due to their intense sensory needs; they generally benefit from more visual, auditory, kinesthetic and concrete, hands-on therapies.

A trained Art Therapist will be able to assess children's strengths as well as challenges through the media and the creative process. In addition, they can help determine developmental levels, emotional and behavioral issues, ego strengths, and more.
