At AMDS we pride ourselves on ecouraging our dancers to stretch their abilities and challenge their bodies while ensuring they enjoy the art of dance. We want our dancers to find their joy and passion in dance. Dance is an incredible and unique way of expressing emotions and this is a talent we actively cultivate, as well as beautiful technique. We have a saying : AMDS Means Family. These are not just words; it's the truth of our studio. The Anna Marie Dance Studio is not only a place where your child will learn to dance, it's also where friendships will begin and confidence will blossom. SPIRIT WEEK: September 16-21 is AMDS SPIRIT WEEK (wear any AMDS logo item to class on top of your regular dance attire)

BRING A FRIEND WEEK: September 23-28. We’re inviting our students to share the magic of dance by bringing along a friend to join them in class. No previous dance experience is needed, and guests just need to be age-appropriate for the class. All guests must fill out the waiver form linked below before participating. Plus, for every friend you bring, you’ll be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $100 gift card to the AMDS pro shop—perfect for dance essentials or our exciting new clothing line launching this fall! 💃👯‍♀️ Don’t miss out on this fun-filled week!

NEW POP UP WORKSHOPS: Pop Up Workshops are here, and we’re so excited to share this new opportunity with our students! Hosted by Miss Bethany, these special events give dancers a chance to come together, celebrate their love for dance, and build friendships outside of the regular classroom. Each workshop will include a mix of dancing, crafts, games, and more!

Our first event is on September 28th, with a "Back To School" theme, perfect for dancers ages 4-9. The fun starts at 4:00 PM and runs until 6:15 PM, giving parents a chance for a well-deserved night out! This event is open to the community and spots are limited, so it’s first come, first serve. We can’t wait to see you there! Sign up below! $25 per student

TRUNK OR TREAT & BOO BASH: Get ready for a spooktacular evening of fun and festivities! We invite all our dance families to join in the excitement by entering and decorating your trunks for our Trunk or Treat contest. The vehicle with the best decorations, as voted by our attendees, will win a $100 prize!

Don't miss your chance to participate—register your "trunk" using the link below! The event will be held on October 26th (location TBD). Trunk setup is from 4:30-5:00 PM, followed by "trunk or treating" from 5:00-6:00 PM.

But the fun doesn't stop there! Afterward, join us for our Boo Bash at the studio from 6:00-7:30 PM, where kids 12 and under can show off their costumes, play games, make crafts, and celebrate together. It’s going to be a fang-tastic night you won’t want to miss! $15 per student!

TUITION: June tuition is now due.

LATE TUITION: Any outstanding fees that are not paid in full by month end will be automatically charged to the credit card on file (subject to surcharge). If card is declined the account will be subject to $15.00 late fee. *A $25.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks by the bank*

PARKING: Do not exit your vehicle unless using a parking space. Avoid blocking in other cars or blocking the entrance to the parking lot. Park on the side street if the lot is full. DO NOT STOP AS YOU ENTER off Philadelphia Pike.

DRESS CODE - Your child should be in proper dance attire for all classes. Shorts, t-shirts, and improper footwear are not allowed. Dress code for each style of class is listed on our website. ALL WILL BE ENFORCED starting 10/1. Please be sure that all clothing and shoes are labeled with your child’s name. Do not wear dance shoes outside of the studio.

EMAIL ADDRESS - If you have not already provided an email address to receive your newsletter electronically please see us in the main office or email amds.de@icloud.com. All addresses will be kept confidential.

Wawa/Food Runs: For the safety of our students we are asking that dancers no longer walk to Wawa etc. Please send your dancer with food or have them to Door Dash, Grub Hub etc food to the studio.

Arrival/Dismissal: Upon arrival, please park and bring your dancer into the building if they are 7 and under. Those dropping off, please pull through to the side of the building to ensure a safe flow of traffic coming in from Philadelphia Pike. We are asking families of our 7 and under to pick up directly from the classroom. Students 8 and older will be dismissed independent, but will remain inside the building.

Follow The Dots... When students arrive to the studio they place their belongings in the dressing area (or bring to their classroom) and line up on our new colored floor dots! If you are in studio "B" (the back room) You will head down the hall to the purple/blue dots. Those who have class upstairs in studio "D" will line up outside the restrooms on the orange and red dots!
