Spring is in the air
Hi Family, Spring is among us. I hope you are ready for the sun, rain, and beautiful flowers. This is the sign of change and a time for the new things to appear. Spring gives us a chance to smell the flowers. Let's start reading a new book, learn a new word, or start a new hobby. Whatever you choose, just be happy and enjoy.
PAPER MARCH MADNESS CHALLENGE
Teachers please support your students with the PAPER APP. There is a challenge for the month of March. It started March 1st. You have to score three points in order to be eligible to win.
To score a Paper Three-Pointer, students must complete a Paper activity on three separate days before each draw. The first round of prizes will be drawn on March 15th and the second on April 1st.
What qualifies as a Paper Activity?
Paper activities occur within the platform. Examples include:
Completing a Paper Mission or Reading exercise
Working through a problem or assignment in Live Help
Submitting a piece of writing to the Review Center
Readers Party
All students who check out books and find a golden ticket, will be invited to the Reader's Party.

How to enter minutes,
This the app that allows you to log your minutes for Race2Read. You can find it in mybackpack. Encourage the students to be honest when logging minutes.
Teachers click the green tab on the right side of your computer screen it says (VIEW READER EXPERIENCE).
1. Click log reading (orange tab)
2. Click the pink log minutes
3. Choose the correct date
4. Input the book title
5. Input the number of minutes
6. Verify you are being honest
7. Click done/log reading
