St. Petronille Catholic School
What an incredible Charger Classic Golf Outing last night! Our parents and community made it the largest Charger Classic in the events history with 204 registered golfers in support of our tuition assistance programs at St. Petronille. We had a great time at the Village Links and I want to offer my sincere appreciation to Mrs. Debbie Quirk, Fr. Jerome Kish, the Golf Committee, our sponsors, our volunteers, and everyone who attended yesterday for helping to make the 2024 Charger Classic a truly special and memorable event for our entire community!
In reference to the Charger Classic, I do want to emphasize that our ability to offer tuition assistance to families in need of it is central to pursuing our mission at St. Petronille. We seek to ensure that a St. Pets education is available to all interested families. The continued support from our families, parishioners, and alumni for our tuition assistance program is inspiring, appreciated, and absolutely necessary. Thank you to all who support us for making a St. Pets education possible for families in need!
With a full five-day week under our belts this week and two more ahead, we are looking to use the consistency ahead to get into a groove this school year! Our next events are our potluck dinners for grades PK-1 and then Grandparents Day on October 4! As always, please reach out with questions or if there is any way I can better support your family.

P.P.S. I wrote in last week's newsletter we would have an RSVP form for Grandparents Day in today's newsletter. We didn't quite get to that this week and will send it out in a stand alone message next week when it is ready to go! Please keep an eye on your email!

Hello everyone! The PO is excited to be back at school and is looking forward to a number of exciting upcoming events.
Throughout the year the Parent Organization organizes social events, sponsors educational, cultural, spiritual and athletic programs. Our goal is to support our wonderful faculty and administration while enriching our students educational experience!
Here are some quick updates from our first PO meeting of the school year which took place last week, Tuesday 9/4.
What have we been up to? Our wonderful committees have:
· Hosted a welcome back to school teacher luncheon.
· Coordinated school pictures.
· Stocked the teacher breakroom for the first week of school.
· Decorated for the start of school with balloons and signs.
· Coordinated Kindergarten Vision & Hearing Screening.
· Coordinated School Supply ordering and pickup.
· Funded painting for front office and Colonial hall.
What's next?
· 9/19, 9/23, 9/24 - Hosting Family Potlucks for PreK, K and 1st grade families.
· Thursday, 9/26 - Junior High Social
· Tuesday, 10/1 - PO Board Meeting at 7pm (All are welcome!)
· Friday, 10/4 - Hosting Grand Day's refreshments and baked goods
