A message from Mrs. Cuevas:
Happy New Year!
In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
-John 1:1
The new year is filled with opportunity; my hope is that all HTCS families have a faith-filled year with an abundance of love and laughter.
This first semester has come and gone, and we only have a few short months to finish the many things we set out to accomplish this year. Our commitment at HTCS is teaching and modeling Catholic Christian morals and values by creating a safe, caring, and respectful environment that supports academic excellence while fostering a love for learning. To accomplish this mission takes the work of our entire school community.
We are so proud of our students and their hard work up to this point; however, we must remember that there is still a lot of work to be done in preparation for successfully completing the 2024-2025 school year. We must quickly get back into our daily routines and we rely on you to encourage our students, to ensure students arrive on time for class every day, and to ensure that all homework is completed and returned to school.
Our school families are key to the success of our amazing school. We have our biggest fundraiser of the year in a few short weeks, and we need now more than ever for everyone to get involved in Coastal Charm to ensure it is a success. This year our Coastal Charm event will be held on February 22nd and will help support so many wonderful things here at HTCS, starting with funding our Fine Art Department.
Please get involved in our wonderful PTO today!

PTO Update
December flew by, can you believe it?
When we return to school in January, we’ll have lots to plan and work on together, the first major thing being Cinco do Coastal Charm!
Coastal Charm Kickoff packets were sent home in October…please keep turning in those Silent Auction Items, Sponsorships, and Ticket Sales. We will be accepting all of those over the next 2 months, but please try to get those in as early as possible. Remember, the sooner you turn in things like Sponsorships, the sooner we can start to feature those businesses online! We featured our first round of Sponsors on the Facebook page this week, so be sure to share that post and give those businesses some love! Remember…all tickets sales and Sponsorships can now also be purchased on the HTCS website under the Giving tab, and then Coastal Charm! The break would be a great time to talk to family and friends and share how they could win the Fiesta Room Drawdown!
Looking ahead to January:
- Thursday, January 16: New Year PTO + Coastal Charm meeting from 5:30-6:30. It’s also Domino’s Pizza Night!
- Sunday, January 26-February 1: Catholic Schools Week…more info to come!
- Monday, January 27: Grandparents Bake Sale
We hosted Santa Shop and Cookies With Santa this month with overwhelming success. December is so magical, and the kids look forward to these two events every year!
Thank you as always for all of the ways you go above and beyond to make our school so special…we couldn’t do it without you!
Merry Christmas! The PTO Board

Holy Trinity Catholic Elementary School Song
Chorus
Holy Trinity, Father, Spirit, Son
We come together here as one
To pray, to learn, and to grow
In the loving kindness that you know.
Come with us to work and play together
We are all a part of one big family,
In a school filled with joy, spirit, peace
Our love will grow as you can see.
Repeat Chorus
Sharing God’s love as a community
Each day we work to build a unity
Caring and loving others as we go
Just as Jesus taught us years ago.
Repeat Chorus
