Donations requested for PTSA-sponsored staff lunch on October 31
It's that SPOOKY time of year when all the Ghosts and Goblins come out! It is also that time of year when we host our teachers and staff to a spooktacular Halloween luncheon! This year, we will host one of their all-time favorites: Nacho & Taco Bar! We need many items supplied, and we need volunteers to put it all together. Please click here to donate!
If there are any artsy or creative people, I need assistance with decorations. Creating or providing decorations would be amazing to take this event over the top for the teachers! They will be participating in a costume contest during this event.
I want to thank you for your participation, as it does not go unnoticed and cannot be done alone. Our teachers and staff truly appreciate all that we do for them as much as we appreciate them for supporting our most significant investment, our kiddos.
If you prefer to donate money towards the event, you can donate HERE.
With Gratitude,
Kathie Robinson
November 1 - Modified Bell Schedule for Unified Sports Event
There will be a modified bell schedule on Friday, November 1 at Poway High School for our first Unified Sports/Special Olympics Inaugural Event at Poway High School. School start and dismissal times will remain the same (8:35 am-3:35 pm), but please be aware of class period, break, and lunch times for off-rolls and off-campus passes.

Canned Food Drive - November 4-8
Trimester 1 Finals and Attendance - November 12-15
This year, we will not have a modified bell schedule for finals. Finals will be held from November 12-15, following the regular bell schedule. Teachers will inform students of the specific days they will administer their finals.
To ensure a smooth testing environment for our students during final exams, off-campus passes will not be distributed during classes from November 12-15. If your student needs to leave, please request a pass 24 hours in advance by calling 858-748-0245 x5113. This is a 24-hour number that is monitored during school hours. Please remind your student that it is their responsibility to pick up the pass as we will not deliver passes to classrooms.
For same-day releases, you must check out your student in person at the PHS front office with your ID. Students can only check out between class periods or during lunch to avoid disrupting finals.
Thank you for your cooperation!

Monday, November 18, will have a minimum day modified bell schedule for the start of Trimester 2.
