Week 15
Good Afternoon,
As we approach Thanksgiving Break, I wanted to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for all the wonderful people who make St. Philip Neri Catholic School such a special place. I am truly blessed to serve as the principal of this incredible parish school, and I’m filled with thanksgiving for the many ways our school community comes together in faith, love, and service.
First and foremost, I am grateful to Father Wood, whose humble leadership and deep commitment to Christ enrich our school each day. It is a joy to work alongside him, serving the souls in our school as we strive to guide our children toward heaven.
A heartfelt thank you to all the past principals who laid the foundation for our school’s success. Their vision and dedication continue to shape the vibrant community we have today.
I also want to thank our amazing teachers and staff. These individuals are truly on the front lines, entering into spiritual battle each day as they pour into their students with prayerful and servant hearts. Their commitment to nurturing both the minds and souls of our children is a blessing, and I am so grateful for their dedication.
To our school families, thank you for being such active partners in the education of your children. It truly takes a village, and together, we are guiding our youth toward the path to heaven. Your support, involvement, and trust in our school are invaluable.
A special thank you to our parishioners, who continuously surround our school in prayer. Your generosity and willingness to help our school improve are deeply appreciated. I am especially grateful for the many 3V speakers who have volunteered their time to enrich our students’ spiritual and educational experiences.
As many of you know, I am a "full-time" husband and father, and my "part-time" role as principal is a privilege that I cherish deeply. Thank you to my beautiful bride, Ryan, and our children for being fully invested together in the mission of SPN. With grateful hearts, we thank each of you for making St. Philip Neri Catholic School an extraordinary place of learning and faith. SPN is in it's 70th year as a school, and our mission continues to go far beyond educating children—it’s about forming disciples of Christ, and I’m honored to be part of that journey with all of you.
Finally, please know that your prayers are always coveted as we continue to rely on our Lord for strength and guidance. May you all have a blessed and joyous Thanksgiving!

Over the past two weeks, we had the privilege of hearing from two outstanding 3V speakers! Father Joseph Portzer delivered a compelling message on St. Benedict’s "flight from the world," offering deep insights into the importance of retreating from the distractions of modern life and the internet. Dr. Larann Wilson shared an inspiring talk on the Person, Power, and Purpose of the Holy Spirit, leaving us with a renewed sense of the Spirit’s transformative presence in our lives.
