~ Make Leaning FUN with Mentimeter on January 9th
~ Packback Writing and Discussions on January 9th
~ ScreenPal 101 on January 10th
We are also offering a workshop called:
Learning that Lasts: Designing Authentic Assessments for Real-World Impact
Monday, January 6th
Learn to create meaningful assessments that resonate beyond the classroom and encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and skills directly applicable to students' future careers and life challenges. Explore methods to ensure that assessments not only measure knowledge but also the practical application of that knowledge.
You can register now for any of these Week of Accountability Faculty Learning Opportunities.
New Canvas Feature!
Multiple Due Dates for Canvas Discussions
When creating a graded discussion, instructors will be able to set multiple due dates or checkpoints to accommodate different stages of the discussion process, such as the initial post and follow-up replies. These multiple due dates (checkpoints) can easily be imported into your next course. Discussion checkpoints structure student participation, aiming to assist students in meeting deadlines for each required step in the discussion.
