Portrait of a Graduate
This month, we are focusing on the skill of adaptability. Students will be learning and applying this skill both in the classroom and beyond. We encourage you to support this at home by modeling and discussing adaptable behaviors as you go about your daily routines.
Challenge 1:
When faced with a new or unexpected situation, ask your child, "What could you learn from this?" or "How could this be a good thing?" This shifts their mindset to view changes as opportunities for growth.
Challenge 2:
When plans change or a fun activity gets canceled, acknowledge their feelings but guide them toward a new activity they can look forward to. This helps them manage disappointment and quickly shift focus.
Mark your calendars for our first Panther Party of the year, October 25th from 3:00 - 5:00pm.
*Panther Parties are held after school, and to be eligible to attend, students must maintain good standing in both their classes and attendance. Students with excessive unexcused absences or tardies will not be eligible to participate. At Riverbend, we are committed to promoting hard work and the importance of regular school attendance.

We ask that all families use the carline for drop-off and pick-up if your child is not riding the bus. If you need to come inside, please park in the designated spots and walk in.

Did you know that you can rent the rock for your child’s special occasion? Call the front office to reserve for $10 per day.

Student retests for EOGs will begin on Monday, June 2nd.
