Birthday Celebrations
We love celebrating our students! Each student will have the opportunity to earn a special birthday prize during the school year. As a reminder, school policy does not allow cupcakes or other desserts to be brought for the class. However, we encourage families to connect with their child's teacher to celebrate in other ways. Below are some fun, non-food ideas for celebrating your child's birthday at school.

Middle School Basketball Sign Ups Are Open!
Sign ups for middle school basketball are now open. Please click the link below to sign your student up for tryouts. Tryouts will start on November 12th, times to be determined. Practice times throughout the season will vary, so please be aware of this when deciding if your student can make the commitment.
As a reminder Strafford Rec has a basketball program for middle schoolers. Practice and games for school and rec basketball don't usually conflict so students are able to sign up for both. This is especially great for beginning players, players that can't make a commitment to the middle school team schedule or B team players that don't have as many games as A team players.
Fall Athletics Survey
If you have a student athlete who participated in a fall athletic program at Strafford School, please take a couple minutes to provide some feedback related to your child's athletic experience this fall. This information will help the district's athletic committee as they review the season and look to enhance future seasons. The information you provide is anonymous and confidential and will be used to improve athletic programing.
