Johnson Jaguars
Your Weekly Update from Johnson Elementary School
Dear Jaguar Families,
We started the week on a "high note" with an instrument demo for our third and fourth grade students. During this brief assembly the students were introduced to the woodwind, brass, percussion, and string options they have to choose from should they decide to play an instrument (or change their instrument) in middle school.
On Wednesday we were delighted by the 2-3BG's play, The Trial of Goldilocks. It was very clear that the students and teachers worked very hard and practiced a lot to make the play so enjoyable to the rest of the school and the grown up visitors. Thank you so much to Mrs. Blake and Mrs. George for all of their hard work on this.
Last night the PTO hosted a family event for current and past Jaguars. Bingo for Books was a great time with lots of excited kids and grown ups leaving with "new" books. I'd like to give a huge shoutout to both Eileen Roche and Kyla Meade for all their hard work in planning this special event.
Have the best weekend of your life!

Smart watches and phones should be in backpacks during the day.
Please label your child's clothing and water bottles. We are hoping to keep our lost and found from growing any larger.
Please send your students to school with a water bottle and a snack each day. We have bottle filling machines that students can use to refill as needed. Everyone has snack daily and should bring that in from home.
Remember also that you can update PickUp Patrol anytime. This is the way we reconcile attendance and run dismissal so please add any changes to your account in a timely manner.
