It's a very straight-forward concept: For every box of cards that is sold, we keep 43%.
You are welcome to share it with your family and friends as well. All orders will come to Lincoln and will be sent home with students at dismissal.
I personally participated in this fundraiser a few months ago and I LOVE the beautiful cards that come in the set, with matching envelopes to boot! Additionally, it was super affordable at $1 per card.
If you choose to buy a box of cards, please use this Google Form. We can accept cash or checks (made out to Lincoln School).
The final day to purchase will be May 10th.

Important Reminders
From Principal Skomial:
Hello Everyone,
First and foremost, please note that our school's NJSLA testing will be held the week of May 20th for our 3rd grade students. It is important for our students to get a good night's rest, eat a filling breakfast, and arrive on time each day. Students' schedules will be altered so they can test in the mornings and attend specials in the afternoon.
If you didn't have the chance to attend this year's Home and School Association's Tricky Tray then you will want to make sure you mark your calendar for next April. It was AMAZING!!! Not only were there over 350 prizes to win, it was also a great opportunity to get to know other parents and staff members. This fundraiser helps support all of the amazing events that are planned from the HSA throughout the year as well as fund mini grants that staff members request such as this year's soccer goals, beautification projects outside of our school, kindergarten manipulatives, and more!
We have lots of fun activities happening in the coming months so be sure to note the dates at the top of this newsletter. I will continue to communicate these activities via ClassTag (SchoolConnect).
Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help with Staff Appreciation Week! Your generous donations are going to make this week so special for our teachers and staff members. I'll be sure to share pictures each day.

The Principal Rides the Bus
What better way to get to know our students than to ride the bus with them? I planned a date with our bus driver, Ms. Elise, and we set off on the route to pick up our kiddos. I was able to knock on some doors and escort some children directly onto the bus. In other cases, I yelled with excitement for them to hurry because they'd be late to school. The looks on the children's faces, and some of their parents' faces, were priceless! I enjoyed learning all about the route we'd be taking and which student we'd pick up next. Inside the bus, it's beautifully decorated with spring decor and the children's artwork. The kids have fondly named the bus the Pineapple Express so it is decorated in their pineapple drawings and other decorative pieces Ms. Elise has hung up. I'd be remiss not to share the impact Mrs. Macera, our bus aide, has each day. During the ride, she talked with the children about their upcoming sporting events and what they did over the weekend. The most exciting part of the ride was experiencing the "roller coaster" which was when Ms. Elise turned up the music and everyone on the bus put their hands up in the air as we descended down a long road. The children were giggling with joy! This was definitely a memorable day as a first-year principal 🥰

Zoophoria Visits ESL Students
Thanks to Mrs. Holmes, ESL teacher, students who receive English as a Second Language services were treated to a special presentation by Zoophoria. The students learned about various reptiles and had the opportunity to mingle with their peers from Thomas Jefferson.
Ms. Caliendo enjoys holding a snake while Mrs. Skomial shivers with panic.
