Rocket Update February 24th

Hey Rose Lane Families!

I wanted to thank all of the families that joined us for our Friendship Dance this past Friday! It was so great to see many of you there enjoying the event! I wanted to also thank those of you who assisted me in getting the tables back into the cafeteria and set up after the event. Your help was greatly appreciated! 🙂

This week is our Book Fair! Students will shop at the fair during their scheduled Library time. If your child was unable to shop at the fair during their scheduled class time don't worry, just let your child's teacher know and we will schedule a time for them. The Book Fair accepts Cash, Credit, Debit, and Checks. Make checks out to PBC. Book Prices Range From $3.00 -$14.00. 😊

3rd Grade Families, the 3rd grade performance is tomorrow! It will take place at the Madison Center for the Arts from 6:00 - 7:00. We can't wait!

Spring Break is only a couple of weeks away! Please try and schedule any appointments for that week so that your child is not missing any school during these next two weeks. We appreciate your support!

Art Masterpiece needs YOU!

Since 1983, Art Masterpiece has become a beloved program in the Madison School District to educate our students about artists who have made a significant impact in history. No art experience is required to become a volunteer for Art Masterpiece. We provide training, as well as presentations, resources, and ideas for projects for you to use or you can make it your own!

As a volunteer for Art Masterpiece you will present information about an artist, their art, history, geographic and cultural relevance, artistic value, unique aspects, art appreciation and create a fun art project with students!

Please remember not to park along the sidewalks on Rose Lane Street. Thank you for adhering to this and keeping our students safe!

• 7:15 AM - School Office Doors and Campus Gates open for students.
• 7:15 to 7:40 AM- Our playgrounds will be available for use by students in the morning at designated locations related to their grade level.
• 7:40 AM - First bell, all students enter their classrooms.
• 7:45 AM - Instruction begins. Students who arrive at or after 7:45 are recorded as tardy, and will need to report to the attendance office for a tardy slip.
• 10:50 AM -12:50 PM - Lunch at grade level assigned times. Students eat lunch for 20 minutes, then report to a designated location on the playground for supervised recess.
• 2:30 PM - All Students Kindergarten through 4th grade dismissed per Rose Lane dismissal procedure.

🚩If your child is here for more than 15 minutes past dismissal time, attempts will be made to contact parents, guardians, or emergency contacts provided by you on your child’s emergency card. If these attempts are unsuccessful, the police will be contacted. Parents will be required to meet with an administrator after 5 late pick-ups.
