What's New with Nearpod?
Tech Tip Tuesday (September 13, 2022)

Spark engagement with the Slides you already have!
Jazz up your lessons with minimal effort!
Nearpod is a great one-stop shop to make any and all lessons more engaging and have more data for you to reflect and implement new instruction.
Here are some of my pro tips and how you can make it a part of your instruction this year!
Google Slides Add-On
Use the same slides you've been teaching with, but add questions, interactive videos, and simulations right into the Slides.
Add a Draw-It Slide for students to make connections between points, add a Collaborate Board to have a quick brain dump over what you've taught, or slip in a quick Quiz or Time to Climb to get a formative look at how the lesson went.
All you need to do is go to the top toolbar at Add Ons and select Nearpod! If it isn't there, you can add it from the Google Workspace Marketplace!
Search the Library by Standard
Anything made by Nearpod has standards attached to them, and you can find exactly what you're looking for!
It's great for creating you own lesson from one of theirs, or you can use content created by trusted providers like iCivics, LearnZillion, PhET, and so many more!
